What to Expect
What do you do Sunday morning?
The Worship Service starts at 10:30 Sunday morning. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to grab a bulletin, find a seat, and enjoy the music before our welcome and announcements. We sing a mix of traditional hymns and modern music, and we listen to or read along with passages from the Bible. Service also includes prayer, an offering, and a sermon.
Service usually lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour. When we share Communion (on the first Sunday of each month), service is extended an extra 10 to 15 minutes.
Please join us for Coffee Hour immediately after Worship Service for coffee, tea, assorted snacks, and good company.
Where do I bring my kids?
Children join the whole congregation for the Worship Service.
Is there a dress code?
Most people wear casual, everyday clothes to SCC. A t-shirt or hoodie and jeans are just fine, as are a nice top and dress pants or a skirt.
Do I need to wear a mask?
We currently do not require masks indoors. Some people choose to wear a mask anyway, and others do not. Surgical masks and KN-95 respirators are available.
We boast a 100% vaccination rate among staff and regular attenders. If you haven’t been vaccinated or boosted yet, we encourage you to schedule an appointment to do so soon!
Where can I park?
The church parking lot is adjacent to our building, with entrances on Forest Glen Avenue and Kolmar Avenue.
