Who We Are
We are a growing community serving the Sauganash neighborhood of Chicago. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Love is Love, and Black Lives Matter.
While not affiliated with a specific denomination, we hold to the theological truths of the Protestant Reformation, seeking to be people faithful to the teachings of Jesus.
More than anything else, we intend to be a welcoming witness to the spiritual values we hold dear through our understanding of the Word of God by cultivating spiritual understanding in a community comprised of all ages.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve our community.
Values
We intend to be a welcoming witness to the spiritual values we hold dear through our understanding of the Word of God.
We intend to live this witness in service to our community.
Goals
Welcoming All
We foster a culture of unlimited hospitality.
We build relationships with people across boundaries of race, class, and other identities that divide us.
Inspiring Compassion
We cultivate caring communities for one another.
We bear witness to love and pain in the world and respond, individually and collectively, with acts of compassion.
Nurturing Faith
We bear witness to the spiritual values revealed by the Word of God and celebrate them in a spirit of worship.
We create opportunities for spiritual deepening, questioning and growth.
Serving Community
We live our faith in service.
